The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Wednesday the game schedule for the upcoming East Division Final between the No. 1 seeded Powassan Voodoos and the No. 3 Timmins Rock.
This best-of-seven affair will get underway Friday at 7 p.m. at the Powassan Sportsplex.
The Voodoos will also host Game 2 on Saturday, also at 7 p.m.
McIntyre Arena in Timmins will be the site for Game 3 & 4, which are scheduled for Tuesday, April 4 and Wednesday, April 5 in a pair of 7:30 p.m. starts.
If necessary, Game 5 is slated for Friday, April 7 in Powassan at 7 p.m.
The Rock would be the home side for Game 6, if it is required, and it would be held on Sunday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Game 7, if needed, has the Voodoos hosting it on Wednesday, April 12 at the Powassan Sportsplex at 7 p.m.
It's the second time in three years the Voodoos have reached the NOJHL semi-final. In 2014-15, they were swept in four straight at the hands of the Cochrane Crunch.
The winner of this match-up will meet either the Blind River Beavers or Soo Eagles in the Copeland Cup – McNamara Trophy league championship series.
Awaiting the NOJHL winner will be a spot at the Dudley-Hewitt Cup Central Canada Jr. ‘A’ Championship, May 2-6, in Trenton, Ont.
All NOJHL playoff games are streamed online at HockeyTV.com.
