The Powassan Voodoos have added another forward to the mix as the January 10th trade deadline has now passsed.

The Voodoos added 19-year-old power forward Seiji Martone from the Princeville Titans of the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League for a development fee.

The 6'2", 190 forward who can play centre and wing, actually started the season with the Cochrane Crunch where he registered four goals and eight assists for 12 points in 28 games with the Dudley Hewitt Cup hosts.

"Our hockey operations group felt we needed to add some size up front at the deadline and I think Seiji (pronounced SAY-GEE MAR-TONY) fits. He has some skill too and he is excited to join our program," noted Voodoos GM Chris Dawson.

The Montreal product joins new defenceman Clark Allair, acquired earlier this week, as the new players who will be in the lineup tonight in Powassan as the Voodoos host the Hearst Lumberjacks.

Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. at the Powassan Sportsplex.
