The East Nipissing Lulu’s Bar & Grill Midget Vipers went undefeated on the weekend (November 18-20th) to claim the championship of the West Nipissing Sting Canadian Tire Fall Classic.
The team went a perfect 6-0 allowing only one goal in the 6 games.
In double round robin play, the Vipers defeated the West Nipissing Sting 3-0 and 5-0 and Eliott Lake 6-0 and 5-1.
On Sunday, the Vipers defeated Kapuskasing 3-0 in semi-final play and than defeated North Bay Mesco 2-0 in the finals.
The staff was very impressed with the boys great offensive, defensive and disciplined play all weekend. Special congrats to Justin Perron for accumulating 5 shutouts on the weekend.
Team roster includes; Jonathan Champagne, Dominique Contant, Travis Desormeau, Kyle Kennedy, Cohen Lamarche, Joel Lamarche, William Montgomery, Benjamin Munro, Ryan Ouellette, Michael Paquet, Justin Perron, Isiah Rose, Michael Suszter and Zachary Whittington.
Coaching Staff includes; Mark Rose, Claude Champagne, Chris Lamarche, Charles Contant and Ray Ouellette.
