The North Bay U13 A Ice Boltz came home provincial as bronze medalists.
The Ice Boltz squad beat the Barrie Sharks 3-1 in the bronze medal game in Toronto.
The Ice Boltz opened with a 3-2 win over the Peterborough Ice Kats to open the tourney. In their second game, they fell 4-1 at the hands of the Thunder Bay Queens. The Ice Boltz found their winning ways in game 3 as they defeated the Owen Sound Ice Hawks 2-1. On Saturday, the Ice Boltz edged the Woolwich Wild 2-1.
That sent the Ice Boltz to the semifinals on Sunday morning where they lost 4-3 in overtime at the hands of the Windsor Wildcats which sent the local squad to the bronze medal game.
Team members include Charli Campbell, Karlee Bolton, Gianna Celebre, Aliyah Shank, Cameron Culbert, Myla Rotondo, Peyton Kendrick, Emma Wood, Brooklyn McGowan, Ally Wilson, Quinn O'Hagan, Kaylee Bolton, Katie Kowal, Zoe Dumont, Aaliyah Hathaway and Maddie Purcell. Coaches are Chris Kendrick, Dave Wilson, Sean O'Hagan, Emma Kendrick and Emma Shimizu. Trainers are Sara Kowal and Ruby Pilatzke. The Manager is Kara Rotondo.
