The U-17 vision volleyball team competed in the two day U-18 tournament in Barrie on the weekend where they captured a silver medal.

The girls won 7 sets and lost 1 in 4 round robin games on Saturday. This put them in 2nd place overall with 12 teams heading into playoffs on Sunday.

After a close game in quarterfinals against the Georgian Cubs winning 25-23, 25-23, they rolled into the semis against the Mavericks where Vision won 25-17, 25-23.

The final put them up against a strong U-18 Scarborough Titans team and after a tough 24-26 loss in first set they came back to win 25-18 and force a third set.

The third set was a close one as they fell 16-14 to the Titans.

Now the team prepares for U-17 provincials, U-18 provincials and U-17 nationals.
