The North Bay Ice Boltz Midget AA Hockey Club will once again be battling Ontario's #1 ranked Sudbury Lady Wolves, this time in Provincial Playdown action on Sunday, February 14th at Memorial Gardens.

The 7.30 pm puck drop starts the first game in 4 point series between the northern rivals for the right to represent the area at the Provincial Midget AA Championship April 8-10 in Toronto.

While Sudbury has represented Northern Ontario the last few years, this series will be an intense battle featuring the #1 ranked (Sudbury) and #5 ranked (North Bay) teams in the Province going head-to-head.

Last year the Sudbury Lady Wolves won the Canadian Championship at the Midget AA level and are looking for a repeat with their current overall record standing at 43 wins, 7 losses and 5 ties.

North Bay with 27 wins, 11 losses and 10 ties, has battled the Lady Wolves to a couple of fast-paced 1-1 draws in the last two games played.
