A small group of North Bay Titans competed at the 2018 Tihanyi NEOR Huronia Long Course Championship on the weekend in Sudbury.

Thirteen-year-old Gabriel Cadieux, 11-year-old Annabelle Jackson and 11-year-old Julia Rivet each won one of their events.

Robby Baas achieved a second place finish while Owen Baas, Cooper Jackson and Brody Marietti also had top-three finishes.

Titans coaches say there was a lot of tough competition and everyone raced well.

They congratulate Indiana Coffin, who not only took part in her first qualifying meet but made her first finals in 100m backstroke.

Twelve Titans raced at the meet, including Marlee Parker, Chloe Popp, Ryan Spencer and Ethan Yates.

The majority of the team achieved personal best times.

The championship event was held June 1st to 3rd at the Jeno Tihanyi Olympic Gold Pool at Laurentian University.

Later this month, the Titans are holding a 50th-anniversary dinner and dance (PSA attached) at the Davedi Club.
