Tweens off to Pickering

North Bay Paramedics/CTS Canadian Career College, a Tween ‘A’ team is in action this weekend in the Pickering invitational ringette tournament.

The WFRA squad, winners in a Sudbury tourney last weekend, will face top contenders from throughout the province in what will be a true test of the team’s depth.

In round-robin play, the locals will face teams from Richmond Hill, Ajax, West Ottawa and Jordan in their pool.

Coach Richard Thisdelle is confident that his team will make it to the final.

“If the girls play the way they did in Sudbury, there’s no doubt in my mind that they can do it,” he said.
