Trojans drop Braves (new)

HAMILTON — The West Ferris defeated Northern Braves of Sturgeon Falls 36-13 in NDA senior football action at Ivor Wynn Stadium Friday.

Quarterback Dan Weber had two touchdowns on runs of 26 and 11 yards and also converted four touchdowns.

Adam Newton added a 36-yard touchdown on a pass. Logan Butler went 63 yards on a run for another major score and Scott Strang ran in from two yards out.

Keven Turner added a two-point conversion on a pass.

Strang rushed for 108 yards on 14 carries.

Adam O’Farrell intercepted pass and Josh Oglestone recovered a fumble for the Trojans.

J. F. Patry scored a 41-yard TD on a pass and Darin Clark ran in from one yard out.
