In NDA Jr football action, the West Ferris Trojans defeated the Chippewa Raiders by a score of 52-18.
The Trojan’s touchdowns were scored by Ashton Stanley with three, Ethan Currie with two, Caedan Carriere with two, and Sean Kelly with an over the shoulder touchdown thrown by quarterback Ethan Estabrooks.
Carson Cleator converted 3 out of the eight touchdowns.
The Raiders’ Jacob Miller scored twice and Garon Devin scored once on the day.
It was another high-scoring affair between the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears and the Algonquin Barons.
Nathan Fok had four touchdowns and Riley Lavergne had three, leading the Bears to a 60-28 win over the Barons. Chase Penasse-McLeod added a pair of touchdowns for the winners.
Raphael Dohourn had all four touchdowns for the Barons in the loss.
Next Thursday Algonquin travels to Franco-Cite and St. Joseph-Scollard Hall hosts Chippewa.
