Trappers win game two of quarter finals

Kyle Willard had two goals as the North Bay Trappers defeated the Valley East Cobras 5-3 Saturday night at Ray Plourde arena to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the best of 5 Great North Midget League quarter final series.

Kody Carnevale, Lance McMahon and Marc Senecal added singles for the Trappers.

The Trappers took game one on Cobra ice Friday night 5-4 in overtime.

The Trappers will have an opportunity to wrap up the series with a victory in North Bay next weekend. Game 3 is scheduled for next Saturday night 7:20 at West Ferris arena. Game 4, if necessary would take place at 1:30 Sunday afternoon.
