Seven local Midget AAA Trappers have been named as part of the two team NOHA’s that will compete at the OMHA Eastern AAA Showcase which will take place December 1st to 2nd, 2018 at the Aurora Community Centre.

Goaltender Ben Gaudreau, who is the only player chosen who is playing for the Major Midget AAA Trappers, will join Minor Midget AAA Trappers netminder Owen Wray on the NOHA teams.

Other minor midget AAA Trappers selected include defenceman Brydan Gibbs, defenceman Clarke McMillan, along with forwards Cameron Lemcke, Nolan Moxam and Tyson Belland.

The players will be separated into two equal rosters (Team NOHA Red and Team NOHA White) and will each play in three games, including the Team NOHA Red vs. Team NOHA White intrasquad game.

The players were selected based on game evaluations from the Under-15 Camp in August.

Players were also selected based on evaluations with their club team by Team NOHA Director of Operations, Mark Seidel and Team NOHA Head Coach, Kyle Brick throughout the early parts of the season.

Team NOHA will compete at three events throughout the season.
