The North Bay Major Midget Trappers took their series vs the Timmins Majors in a 9-1 win last night on Majors home ice at McIntyre Arena.
Trapper goals netted by Nick Davis, Cole Craft, Matt Hardwick (2), Kobe Seguin, Dylan Bond (2), Nick Wojick, and Hunter Foreshew.
Assists were provided by Bailey Chenier, Tye Lindeman, Zack Lefebvre, Kyle Armstrong, Davis, Seguin, Craft, Bond, and Foreshew.
Trappers netminders, Joel Rainville and Riley Audet, split the win in net.
The victory allows the Trappers to move on to the finals in a rematch of last year's final as they will face the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves.
The Wolves won the final 3 games to 2 last year but the Trappers got revenge by defeating the Wolves for OHF bronze in Sudbury last spring.
Dates and times for the start of the final series are yet to be confirmed.
