Trappers snare Cubs (PHOTOS)

Trappers improve to 9-0-1 on the season.

The North Bay & District Midget AAA Trappers snuck by the New Liskeard Cubs 4-1 at Memorial Gardens on Wednesday night.

Eric Mondoux, Dylan Bond, Payton Vescio, and Nick Davis had goals for the Trappers.

The game was highlighted by a pair of impressive goals scored on rushes from the blueline as Payton Vescio split the New Liskeard Cubs defence, was stopped and then put home his own rebound while Dylan Bond made his impressive rush by beating the defenders on the outside and cutting in and making a nice move on the Cubs goalie Ty Sparling.

Maxim Breault had the lone goal for the Cubs.

The Trappers win improves their record to 9-0-1 on the season.
