Trappers maul Cubs, lose to Caps

Kody Carnevale scored the lone Trappers goal with less than two minutes to play in the game.

The Nickel Caps led 2-0 after one period but scored three times shorthanded in the middle frame to break this one open.

It was quite a wake up call for the Trappers who blasted the visiting New Liskeard Cubs 7-1 Saturday night at West Ferris.

Paul Deluca and Niko Tonello each had a pair of goals, with singles going to Marc Senecal, Kyle Willard, Kody Carnevale.

Patrick Beaudry stopped 22 shots in the win.

The Trappers record falls to 3 wins and 1 loss on the season.
