The North Bay & District Major Midget AAA Trappers doubled up the host Clarington Toros 4-2 in game three for the local team at the Central Regional Major Midget AAA Championships which are taking place in Clarington this weekend.
The win improves the Trappers record to two wins and one tie in three games.
Ben Brunette, Justin Dauphinais, Zach Lefebvre and Noah Lagrandeur scored for the Trappers.
Battalion prospect Reece Proulx made 41 stops for the win.
The Trappers next action is Thursday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. when they face the 0-3 Kingston Jr. Frontenacs.
