The North Bay & District Major Peewee AAA Trappers were in Ottawa last weekend to take part in the September AAA Shootout.

The Trappers finished with a record of 2-2 during the weekend event.

In their first contest, they pulled out a 2-0 win over Markham.  Briir Long and Andre Mondoux had the goals while Jackson Curran was credited with the shutout.

In their second game, the Trappers fell 7-2 to the Eastern Ontario Wild. Mondoux and Simon Toupin had the goals.

The Trappers then dropped a 4-1 decision at the hands of the Kitchener Rangers.  Ben Graham had the lone goal.

The Trappers finished off the weekend strong with a 5-3 win over the Grey-Bruce Highlanders.   Toupin and Mondoux led the offence with two goals each, while the other tally went to Long.

Unfortunately, the Trappers 2-2 record left them tied for the wildcard spot but they were eliminated through the goals for and against tournament tiebreaker.
