Major Bantam

The North Bay Dig Safe Major Bantam AAA Trappers traveled north on highway 11 to visit the city with the heart of gold.  Despite the frigid temperatures, the Trappers started the 2 game series by scoring early and often, defeating the Timmins North Stars by a score of 7-1.   Sunday morning’s 10 o’clock game started out a little slower for the Trappers, but by the end of regulation, they managed to hold on for a 5-4 victory.  The Dig Safe Major Bantam AAA Trappers now have their biggest winning streak of the season at 4 games.

They look to improve their skills and team play over the next 2 weeks as they prepare to travel back up to Timmins another 2 game series on January 27-28th.
