Titans Youngsters Shine at Top Fish Swim Meet

A mighty group of 11 and under aged swimmers from the North Bay Titans came home with some successful results at the second Top Fish meet of the season last weekend in Sudbury.


A mighty group of 11 and under aged swimmers from the North Bay Titans came home with some successful results at the second Top Fish meet of the season last weekend in Sudbury.

Leading the way for the Titans were Evan Kilroy and Rayna Costello, both 11 years of age, who brought home first place finishes in all five of their swim events as well as obtaining personal best times in most of their swims.Other Titans swimming to first place honors were Noelle Corazza, Julie Jonescu, Sheldon Kilroy, Alexis Mitchell, Meghan Norman, Ayden Ryk, Payton Sproule, Jennifer Tripp, Jenna Wall and Katelyn Warner.

Those swimmers landing second place were Jenna Schultz, Alexis Viczian and Hunter Walker while third place went to Annika Lainevool, Jillian O'Donnell, Karly Saile.

Personal best times were achieved by all Titans swimmers in attendance.

In other Titans news, Brittany Pask and Renee Gagnon qualified to swim and represent the Titans in the Eastern Canadian National Championships this weekend in Montreal, Quebec. Also, in two weeks time, the Titans host their annual Invitational swim meet which takes place over three days at the YMCA pool.
