Other swimmers that medalled were; Samantha Crossley with 2 bronze (200 backstroke and 800 freestyle), Scott Morawski had 2 silvers (100 and 200 breaststroke) despite being sick for the 2 weeks prior to the meet. Other swimmers who made finals were; Morgan Brown (14), 7th and 8th, Kendra Driscoll (17) 4th, 5th and 6th, Erin Emery (16) 7th and 8th, Jennifer Leckie (12) 6th, Philip Newman (16) 6th, Ryan Quigley (11) 7th and Maleah Seguin (12) 5th and 7th. The North Bay Titan’s next meet is with the North Bay Thunderbirds as they travel together as part of the Nipissing Swim Association to compete in Buffalo, New York in mid-May. Dominique Bouchard has qualified for the Canadian National World Trials in Montreal that same week and will be trying to qualify for the Canadian National Swim Team that will take part in the World Championships this summer in Montreal. She will also be attempting to qualify for the Ontario team that will take part in the Canada Games this summer. After that the North Bay Titans will be hosting its first swim meet at the North Bay Aquatic Center on May 27 to 29th. We encourage everyone to come out as see what competitive swimming is all about.
