Titans' Boyce blanks Americans

The second place Temiscaming Titans (13-3-0-1) shutout the Orangeville Americans(7-8-1-1) Friday evening at the Centre by the score of 7-0.


The second place Temiscaming Titans (13-3-0-1) shutout the Orangeville Americans(7-8-1-1) Friday evening at the Centre by the score of 7-0.

Aaron Boyce collected his first shutout of the season in the process and Francis Beauregard had a four point outing with a hat trick and one assist. The Titans led 2-0 after 20 minutes, increased it to 4-0 after 40 minutes and closed out the game with three goals in the third.

Other goal scorers were Dustin Roy, Mathew Chasse, Ryder Murray and the leagues top scorer Justin Norris.

Devin Nyers suffered the loss facing 43 shots with Boyce stopping all 24 shots that he faced.
