Justin Digiglio’s three rushing touchdowns powered the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears to a 55-14 win over Northern Braves in NDA senior football.
Jacob Carriere collected a pair of touchdowns and Joe Ammerata had a touchdown on a running play and booted seven of eight converts.
Jacob Chirico and Ray Filiatrault had the other touchdowns.
Matt Poirier and Andrew Horner had the touchdowns for the Braves, who hold down the fourth and final spot.
The Bears are 5-1 while the Widdifield Wildcats and West Ferris Trojans are 4-1.
The Wildcats play the Raiders at Chippewa Friday and a win gives them first-place and a match up with the Braves at Widdifield in one semifinal.
The Bears and Trojans lock horns Saturday at Cundari Field and should the Wildcats win Friday, Saturday’s winner will host the other semifinal.
