Team NOHA falls to 1-1

Team NOHA fell to 1-1 on the opening day of the OHL Cup after a 5-3 loss at the hands of the York-Simcoe Express. 

The Express scored three times on the power play to build up a 5-2 second period lead.  

Ethan Morris, Heath Bradley scored in the first and second periods while Caleb Dawson scored with the extra attacker but it was too little too late.

Team NOHA opened the high-profile tournament with a 4-2 win over the London Jr Knights. 

Team NOHA, which is comprised of the top U16 players from the north, including 10 North Bay U16 Trappers, are back on the ice Thursday morning when they face the Don Mills Flyers.
