Strong showing for Titans at Sudbury long course meet

Eighteen North Bay Titans took part in the first long course swim meet of the season last weekend in Sudbury, Ont. 

Twelve-year-old Nikita Ouellette, Julia Rivet, 12 and Drew Stephenson, 14, each had first place finishes. 

Second place finishes were achieved by Andrew Fuzy, 11, and Ryan Spencer, 11 while Indiana Coffin, 14, and Chloe Popp, 12, had third place finishes. 

Ashlyn Auger, 14, Brooklynn Bayliss, 11, Cyrus Hachkowski, 11, Jack Hachkowski, 13, and Lily Lyle, 9, all had top five finishes.  

Also competing were Leah Dawson, 16, Niganii Dokis, 8, Aurora Doughty, 15, Freya McLaren, 12, Samantha Morris, 13, and Riley Roy, 13, with most of the team achieving personal best times. 

The Northeast Region (NEOR#4) Development Meet was held at the Jeno Tihanyi Olympic Gold Pool at Laurentian University on March 30th and 31st.
