The North Bay U15 Spartans captured the OBA provincial crown today beating Ancaster 62-49 in the championship game on Sunday at ESC Algonquin gymnasium.
The event included 36 teams from across the province competing in five divisions.
The victorious Spartans played in Division 4.
It’s the first time North Bay has hosted the championship.
The Spartans have been operating since 2003 and this year they had the most teams competing with 6. Last year they won two Provincial Championships at U16 Girls and the U19 Girls levels.
