Sunday night at Memorial Gardens, the Skyhawks led 5-4 going into the third, but allowed the Pembroke Lumberkings to score one goal that earned them a 5-5 tie in overtime.

The two clubs meet Saturday night in Pembroke and it’s the final exhibition tussle for the Skyhawks, members of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Adam Cook had two goals for the Skyhawks with Yves Bastien, Stephane Belanger and Chris Leveille adding the others.

Leveille’s goal came on the powerplay in the first period when North Bay scored three times.

Jason Walters and Graham Fallon had two goals each for the visitors. Scott Campbell had the other.

Daniel Monocia went the distance in goal for North Bay and stopped 37 of 42 shots.
