Skyhawks fall to Eskimos

The Skyhawks scored twice in the first period, but that's all the offence they could muster as the Abitibi Eskimos defeated the North Bay squad 5-2 on Wednesday night in NOJHL action in Iroquois Falls.

Jesse Graham and Chase Gallacher scored for the Skyhawks. Skyhawks goalie Michael Lalande was kept busy all night long stopping 40 shots in the loss, as the visiting Skyhawks were outshot badly 45-22.

Skyhawks next action is Sunday night as they take on the Blind River Beavers Sunday night 7 p.m. at Memorial Gardens.
