Skaters in national finals

Alice Graham of North Bay and Ryan Arnold of South River are competing at this week’s BMO Skate Canada senior national figure skating championships in Edmonton, Alberta.

Alice is competing in the junior ice dance competition with her partner Iliya Koroshev of Vancouver.

This marks their first national championship together.

Graham, however, won the 2002 novice Canadian championship with her previous partner.

Arnold is competing in the junior men’s championship. He has been competing this year solely as a singles competitor with tremendous success on the international Grand Prix circuit.

Arnold is also a Canadian champion having won the 2002 junior pairs championship.
