Simard had 20 points and Zwolak added 19 as the Barons defeated Northern Braves 60-20 to improve to 3-0.

The Barons also put up a tough defence.

Candace McGirr had three treys and finished with 11 points. Mile Paris chipped in with six points.

Tracy Renaud had five points for the Braves and Sylvie Larocque added four.

Zwolak and April Lloyd of the Braves were the game stars.

In senior boys football, the West Ferris Trojans defeated the Braves 42-15.

Scott Strang had a touchdown on a one-yard run and went six yards for another major score.

John Gore caught a pass from quarterback Dan Weber for a 35-yard TD and ran eight yards for another.

Rob Rappolt went 31 yards for touchdown and Logan Butler ran 57 yards for another TD.

Weber converted five TDs and added a single.

J.F. Patry went 23 yards for a Braves touchdown and Matthew Perrier went into the end zone form one yard out.

Keven Turner had a fumble recovery for the Trojans.
