For the second time, North Bay’s Canor Sand Centre will be hosting the Volleyball Canada Senior Beach Nationals from Friday, August 18th to Sunday, August 20th.

VSE Canada (Vision Sports and Entertainment) is excited to announce that the Volleyball Canada Senior Beach Nationals will be held at the Canor Sand Centre this coming Friday, August 18th through to Sunday, August 20th.

The event, organized by Vision Sports and Entertainment, is free to the public as 33 of Canada's finest female and male beach athletes compete to become Canada's National Champions and their share of $10,000 in prize money.

"It is an honour to once again host this national tournament at our facility," said David Culin, VSE Director.

"Our international courts and passionate team of volunteers continue to attract the best beach athletes to North Bay.”

Sandra da Graaf, Director of Domestic Events for Volleyball Canada, says they are excited to welcome teams from across the country once again to North Bay.

"North Bay has been an excellent partner for several years, having been the host of our NORCECA beach events and the marquee 2016 RIO Olympics Men's qualifier.”

Amedeo Bernardi, VSE President, feels Volleyball Canada has been a great partner helping develop North Bay’s unique water-front beach volleyball facility.

"We look forward to our continued relationship with Volleyball Canada as we work together to bring the best in beach events to our region,” said Bernardi.

The senior event in North Bay is hosted by the Not-For-Profit Vision Sports and Entertainment (VSE Canada) and features five courts at its well known Canor Sand Centre in downtown North Bay, ON. VSE will be holding a fundraising BBQ during the event with proceeds going towards its hosting expenses.
