Rotarians battle back to win Senior Baseball title in a slugfest

Rotarians win 15-12

The Carte Blanche Rotarians battled back from two four-run deficits to claim the North Bay Senior Men's Baseball title on a chilly night at the Steve Omischl Sports Complex.

Matt Sookram came in relief in the sixth inning to halt a North Bay Stingers come back as he recorded the final four outs in the 15-12 victory over the North Bay Stingers Midget team.

The victory gives the Rotarians the best-of-three series victory 2-1.

The Rotarians opened up the series Sunday with a convincing 8-3 win over the young Stingers squad.  However, the Stingers bounced back in game two Monday night with a 6-1 victory to force a third and deciding game.
