Re/Max Legend Minor Bantam AA Trappers struck gold at the  President's Day Tournament in Buffalo, NY winning 3-1 over the Yale Bulldogs.

Trappers tied their first game Friday night at the Hyde Park Ice Pavilion against the Buffalo Stars 2-2.

The North Bay team clinched their second game with an 8-0 win over the Cheektowaga Warriors Saturday morning and continued their winning streak beating Niagara Falls 6-1.

With two wins and a tie, the Trappers secured a spot in the semi-final game against Wheatfield Blades.

It was a tight game until the third period when the Trappers pulled away with it in the third winning 6-2.
