Plenty of top finishes for Titans in Sudbury

Eight North Bay Titans swam to first place finishes at an invitational meet in Sudbury on the weekend.  
 
Eleven-year-old Julia Rivet won a half-dozen events and was second in two more. 
 
On top of making a Festival time (11-year-old age category) in 200m Fly, nine-year-old Owen Baas had four first-place finishes and was top three in his four other events.  
 
Robby Baas was first in one event and top three in seven more. 
 
Other Titans achieving first place finishes were Ashlyn Auger, Indiana Coffin, Leah Dawson, Chloe Popp and Ryan Spencer. 
 
Top three finishes were achieved by Nikita Ouellette, Katelyn Warner and Allen Huang, who swam in his first long course meet. 
 
This was also the first long course meet for Alexis Anderson and Ava Bertrand. 
 
Dekota Jones, along with most of the Titans team, achieved personal best times. 
 
The Sudbury Laurentian Swim Club hosted the Spring Long Course Invitational at Laurentian University's Jeno Tihanyi Olympic Gold Pool on April 21st & 22nd, 2018.
