Nobody is saying, but an ultimatum has been handed to the Sudbury Northern Wolves.

It was announced earlier this week that the Wolves wanted a year's leave of absence from the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. But now the NOJHL directors decided not to approve the application.

Instead they issued the ultimatum.

The Sudbury Minor Hockey Association (SMHA), which effectively owns the Northern Wolves, has been given until Monday (Aug. 16) morning at 9 a.m. to either complete a sale of the team or agree to run the team for the upcoming season.

The league's 2004-2005 has been released. It's available at www.nojhl.com.
