North Bay goaltender Colton Point continues to have a memorable sophomore season in NCAA hockey.
His hot start with the Colgate Raiders led to an invitation to Team Canada’s World Junior team, and he has followed up winning gold with Team Canada with more solid play and now a nomination for the Hobey Baker award, which is presented annually to the top player in NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey.
Only 74 players in all of Division I men's ice hockey were nominated for the Hobey Baker Award, putting Point among the elite players in the nation.
