North Bay Tween "C" Ringette team wins Silver

The West Ferris Association Tween C team played in the 25th Annual Guelph Ringette Association Tournament this weekend, finishing second in their division. The girls came out flying Friday dominating Barrie 10-3.
The West Ferris Association Tween C team played in the 25th Annual Guelph Ringette Association Tournament this weekend, finishing second in their division.

The girls came out flying Friday dominating Barrie 10-3. Then they continued their winning ways Saturday by defeating Elora/Fergus 6-2.

Sunday morning they challenged Mitchell but came up short losing 5-4.

In the tournament final they once again faced Mitchell who continued to have North Bay's number at the event, as they came away with an 8-3 victory over the North Bay girls. It's a game the local team would like to have back.

The Canac Kitchens/Partners in Law Tween "C" team is made up of the following players and coaches:

Team members are: Goalie - Carolyn Closs, Center - Brianne O'Rourke, Alexandria Seymour, Brittany Lamers, Christina Marchioni, Jenna Buckley, Jessica Johnston, Lisa Walsh, Megan MacDonald, Rebecca Saunders, Teidra Buckley, Tyler Foreshew, Vanessa Ianucci.

Coach: Dale Foreshew,

Assistant Coaches: Carrie Lynn Closs, Judy O'Rourke, Lynne Johnston.
