It's a big weekend for North Bay's Adam Newton. The North Bay sprinter will be running at the Pan Am junior games in Windsor this weekend as a member of Canada's 4 x 100 meter relay team.
The NOSSA champion finished fourth in the 100 M race at OFSAA and followed that up with a fourth place finish at the Canadian Juniors in Montreal.
"I can't believe it, it's going to be great!" Newton told BayToday.ca two weeks ago, after it appeared that he didn't make the team.
The 4 x 100 meter relay event takes place on Sunday.
