It was a great football game this afternoon as the Wildcats (1-1) travelled to the Trojan Alumni complex to take on the undefeated Jr. Trojans, who remained unbeaten thanks to a close 21-7 win over the Cats.

The Wildcats took the opening kick off and their offense ran their way to the Trojan’s fifteen-yard line taking up the entire first quarter. They turned the ball over on downs and the Trojan offense moved the ball all the way to the Wildcats fifteen. Riley Marz caught a pass in the end zone and Carson Cleator kicked the conversion. The halftime score was Trojans 7 Wildcats 0.

The Trojans received the second half kick off and a long drive was capped with Ashton Stanley following his blockers up the middle for the score.

Carson Cleator kicked the extra point.

The Wildcats threatened all day long and back up quarterback Carson Ladd did a nice job of filling in. Stanley ended the game with another run up the middle late in the game, again converted by Carson Cleator.
