NDA Hockey - Proulx leads Pats past Bears

The Franco-Cité Patriotes got back in the win column with a 6-3 victory over the St. Joseph Scollard-Hall Bears at the NDA Showcase Saturday night at Memorial Gardens. Nicolas Proulx scored five times for the Patriotes (2-3).
The Franco-Cité Patriotes got back in the win column with a 6-3 victory over the St. Joseph Scollard-Hall Bears at the NDA Showcase Saturday night at Memorial Gardens.

Nicolas Proulx scored five times for the Patriotes (2-3). Corey Lennon added the other goal for Franco-Cité. Brandyn Leclair, Adam Bainbridge and Nick Gribbons scored for the Bears. Mathieu Paquette picked up the win in goal for Franco-Cité.

The Patriotes are back in action on Wednesday night as they host the Bears at 7:30pm at the Verner Arena.

They will then take part in the annual NDA Christmas Tournament next weekend in North Bay, where they will play St-Charles College (Sudbury), Manitoulin Secondary School (M'Chigeeng), Widdifield Secondary School and Almaguin Highlands Secondary School (South River) in round robin play.
