NDA Hockey - Patriotes down Bears

The Franco-Cité Patriotes won their second straight NDA hockey game over the St. Joseph Scollard-Hall Bears, this time a 3-1 victory on Wednesday night in Verner.
The Franco-Cité Patriotes won their second straight NDA hockey game over the St. Joseph Scollard-Hall Bears, this time a 3-1 victory on Wednesday night in Verner.

After scoring five times versus the Bears last Saturday, Nicolas Proulx scored twice for the Patriotes while Randy Pellerin added the other. Proulx added an assist while other helpers went to Kyle Imbeau and François Viau. Jayden Mechefske replied for the Bears.

Chad Imbeau backstopped the Patriotes to the win while Fabian Malette took the loss for the Bears.

The Patriotes and Bears will both compete in the NDA hockey tournament this weekend in North Bay.

Games start on Friday morning at Pete Palangio Arena and Memorial Gardens.
