The Algonquin Barons made it 3 wins in a row topping FJ Voyageurs 17-1 Wednesday night.
Eric Mondoux got the win striking out 7 in 3 innings. Kyle Kennedy threw 10 pitches striking out all three batters he face and Nic Tessier struck out 2 batters and gave up 1 run.
The offense was led by Zach Dwyer going 2 for 2 and drawing a walk scoring three times. Matt Hardwick reached base 3 times and Pat Maille also reached base on his three at-bats.
In other action Wednesday, the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears scored five runs in the opening inning en route to a 9-4 win over the West Ferris Trojans in NDA Baseball action Wednesday night at Veteran's Field.
Bourke Houle was solid on the mound for the Bears, finishing with 7 strikeouts in the win. Nicholas Cundari contributed two singles to pace the Bears offence in the win.
Kyle Pawson had two singles in a losing cause for the Trojans.
