The North Bay Minor Midget AA Trappers captured a silver medal at the Toronto Aeros Winter Classic over the weekend.
The Trappers got to the final thanks to a 3-2 win over Vernon Hills from Illinois, a 2-0 victory over the host Aeros, a 3-0 win over North Toronto and a 2-0 victory over the Ottawa Silver Seven.
However, the undefeated Trappers had their hands full with the Humberview Huskies as the Huskies pulled out a hard-fought 3-2 overtime win.
Players include Aiden Turgeon, Austin Presseault, Cameron MacDonald, Cam Harwood, Carter Paterson, Drew Spencer, Ethan Miller, Ethan Mclean, James Lindsay, Jim Montgomery, Kaleb Grant, Mathieu Savignac, Nolan Gervais, Sheydon Kosie, Teo Ryan, Tyler Desmarais and Will McCharles.
