Midget playoff action for Trappers and Ice Boltz this weekend

The North Bay Major Midget AAA Trappers and the North Bay Midget AA Ice Boltz will be hosting playoff games this weekend. 

The Trappers begin their Great North Midget League semi-final series tonight as they face the Timmins Majors.   

Game one of the best-of-five series takes place tonight at 8 p.m. at Memorial Gardens and Game two will take place at 7:30 p.m. 

Meantime, the North Bay Almos gold Midget AA Ice Boltz defeated Aurora Panthers in the first round of LLFHL playoffs. 

The Ice Boltz won a first to four points series over Aurora with a 2-2 tie in game one, a 3-0 victory in game two and another tie, 0-0, in game three.  

The Boltz move on to play the number one team in the central division Toronto Aeros.

The series starts Saturday, February 17th at 7:15 p.m. in Toronto.

However, game two is Sunday, February 18th at 3 p.m. in Powassan.

Game three will take place in Toronto on February 24th.
