Lance McMahon scored with just under 3 minutes remaining in the first overtime period to give the Trappers a 3-2 series clinching victory over the Kirkland Lake Legion 87's.
The Trappers finished off the 87's in 4 games in the best of 5 semi-final.
Marc Senecal had the other two goals for the Trappers who will be heading to Sault Ste. Marie Friday night to begin the Great North Midget League Final.
