Marquardt and Team Canada 1-1 at World Inline Hockey Championships

Canada opened with a 7-2 win on Canada Day against Japan, but dropped a 4-3 decision to the host team from France on Sunday evening their record at 1-1. Canada takes on a weak team from Korea on Monday and then take on Italy on Wednesday.

17 year old North Bay native Matt Marquardt is the youngest player on Team Canada. He joined the Ottawa 86ers Inline hockey team in the spring which is representing Canada at the Worlds this week.
