Gavin Brown scored twice to lead the North Bay Major Midget AAA Trappers to a 3-2 win over the Sudbury Minor Midget Wolves in Great North Midget League action on Wednesday night in Sudbury.
Ben Gaudreau got the win in goal for the Trappers who improve to 2-0 on the season after opening last Friday with a convincing 13-0 win over the New Liskeard Cubs.
Mitchell Martin and Chase Stillman replied for the Minor Wolves.
The Trappers next league game is not until September 29th, when they face the defending champion Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves at Memorial Gardens for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.
