The ACT/UCT Atom A Trappers win Gold against the Elliot Lake Wildcats 6-1, at the Keith Barton Memorial Tournament held this weekend in Powassan.
The Trappers began their weekend with a 6-0 win over the East Nipissing Vipers, next losing to the Cochrane Knights 3-2 during the preliminary round Friday.
That would be the Trappers only loss.
The team re-grouped Saturday to win the next two games 5-3 and 3-0.
Those wins took them to the semi finals on Sunday morning where they won 4-1 against the host team, Powassan Hawks.
