The guard, who played at West Ferris in high school and with Nipissing in the OUA,  signed a standard player agreement with the Sudbury Five of the National Basketball League of Canada late last week.

“I’m very excited to join the Five for the second half of the season,” said the newly signed Puddister in a team release.

“To sign with the Five, especially here in Northern Ontario is special. I can’t wait to get started.”

The Five fell 121-116 to the Cape Breton Highlanders in Puddister’s debut on Saturday night in Sudbury.

The new Sudbury team, owned by Sudbury Wolves owner Dario Zulich sports a 9-10 record in the 10-team league.
