Let the games begin

It’s that time of year again when ice hockey is over and the ice is taken out of the arenas for the summer.

That is the case at West Ferris Arena where ball hockey will be taking over the floor surface for the summer.

The 2005 North Bay Men’s Ball Hockey League will kick start its season tonight with three games on the schedule.

At 8:15pm Wal-Mart will take on Mr. Toppers

Followed at 9:15pm where PT Works will take on Canuck Drilling

Then in the late game on Monday Night at 10:15pm Greco’s will battle against TV Cogeco.

The league will run this year has a seven-team league, up from six last year. Games will be played on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays evening throughout the summer.

Other games scheduled this week, on this opening week of the 2005 ball hockey season are:

Tuesday’s Games: Appletree vs Wal-Mart 8:15pm

Mr. Toppers vs PT Works 9:15pm

Thursday’s Games: Canuck Drilling vs Greco’s 8:15pm

TV Cogeco vs Appletree 9:15pm
