The Nipissing Lakers Varsity Women’s Hockey team is staying local for the one of their key signings for the 2019-20 recruiting class.

Malory Dominico, the sister of Lakers 2017-18 OUA rookie of the year Maria Dominico, plays for the North Bay Midget AA Ice Boltz.

“We look forward to having her and Maria on the ice at the same time.”

Forward Melanie Young, who also played for the Midget AA Ice Boltz is another player with a local connection, will also join the Lakers next fall.
